Karibu

We’re open for sit-in, takeaway and delivery. We have a delicious and varied plant-based menu. Choose from hot meals, craft beer and cocktails. All locally sourced wherever possible, to support our local economy and provide you with the best produce available. We’re open five days a week. Enjoy the vibe of Karibu in our indoor and roof terrace seating areas. “Karibu” is a Swahili word for Welcome and you’ll always feel welcome here. With very best wishes, Karibu.

Announcement

After years of glorious chaos in the kitchen, Karibu is taking its last bow this August. What a ride it’s been! Running this place has been an absolute riot of flavour, and reinventing the menu on a whim has been pure, unbridled joy — never a dull moment, never the same dish twice (well, almost never).

But the real magic? You. The wonderfully warm, endlessly loyal souls of Stroud who turned up, tucked in, and made this whole adventure worth having. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. You’ll be dearly, dramatically missed.

A quick housekeeping note amid the fanfare: do spend those gift cards before August 2026 — we’d hate for any good fortune to go to waste!
